NEW YORK LINUX USERS CLUB - NEW YORK, NY

Linux Volunteer (2000 - Present)

Introduced novice users the Linux / Unix operating systems and the benefits of Open Source Software.

Assist people in installing Linux onto their computers and train the users in the operation of the Linux operating system from office productivity including printing to Internet access including email configuration, Web access, and multimedia.

Provided the club with a portable server which provides simple network services including the ability to install software via the network.

SATURATED NETWORKS CORP. - RAHWAY, NJ

Unix System Administrator Volunteer (1999 - 2001)

Provided continued consulting and assistance that began as the Lojik Network Project to the now staff of Saturated Networks Corp. Assist in the monitoring of servers and networks for security anomalies and other potential problems.

LOJIK NETWORK PROJECT - HOBOKEN, NJ

Unix System Administrator Volunteer (1997 - 1999)

Train other people in the art of Linux / Unix administration in designing, implementing, and maintaining the server at very little monetary cost. One of which became the President of Saturated Networks Corp.

Network infrastructure integration and administration which includes TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, Sendmail, Postfix, Samba , Apache, LDAP, YP-NIS, NFS with locking, high availability networking, and network security.
